Songwriter HONIG aus Düsseldorf ist nicht süß und klebrig. HONIG ist melancholisch, intensiv, hoffnungsvoll und harmonisch. Bitter erfrischend. Leise summend und laut drängend. Seine Texte erzählen von erfahrenen Gefühlen, seine Musik trägt weiter in gefühlte Erfahrungen.
16.45-17.15 Castagnier (HH)
Hinter Castagnier steht der Hamburger Singer/Songwriter Christoph Ramke. Unterstützt von Freunden wie Sandra György am Gesang werden einzelne Begebenheiten in skizzenhaften Beschreibungen aufbewahrt, stets beeinflusst von den ruhigen Helden Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, Tim Buckley, Kings of Convenience und Howie Beck.

17.30-18.00 Leine (NL)
Atmospheric, melancholy and pure. That’s a way to summarize Leines music. Her sound has evolved from inventive jazzy guitarsongs to powerful, dynamic and eerie folksongs. She is not afraid to experiment but never loses intimacy. Her voice has a warm base, a feisty edge and her lyrics are layered and personal.
Leine is member of the Amsterdam Songwriters Guild, with a long list of Dutch venues and festivals to her name, from Paradiso to Lowlands. She lives and breathes music, collaborates with other musicians (like Moss) and is currently working on her second album. She will crawl under your skin, invade your ears and leave you longing for more.

Angeblich soll es Menschen geben, die stolz darauf sind, eine dunkle Vergangenheit zu haben. Diese Menschen sollten eines wissen: Die von Monaco à Go-Go ist schwarz — teerschwarz und mit weißen Streifen von überall bis Monaco. Immer wenn Monaco mit seinem Vater Styliano à Go-Go um die Welt tourte, waren es die Blues-, Bluegrass- und Folkkassetten des Vaters, die Monaco einen Lichtstrahl in die Dunkelheit des Alltags schickten. Mittlerweile lebt er ein sesshaftes Leben zwischen Texas und Hamburg. Doch zurück bleibt die alte Gewissheit: “Every rose has its thorn” (Poison 1988).
19.00-19.30 Jürgen Ufer & die Dinge im Fluss (HH)
Der Wahl-Hamburger spielte zehn Jahre Gitarre bei der Alternative- Rockband ‘Eaten by Sheiks’ (u.a. Support-Tour mit ‘Wir sind Helden’ und ‘Madsen’). 2007 verliess er die Band mit der Erkenntnis, dass die eigenen Visionen dort keine Zukunft haben.
Musikalisch und textlich zu lyrisch, um die Hamburger Schulbank zu drücken, fließen in seinen Songs Elemente aus Britpop und Country, Indie und Folk zusammen.

The songs are about the longing of the one who sneaks a peak in the other one’s diary, a recollection in a scent, a moment’s happiness and a view inside a messy head and a story being told. Their hope and ambition is to contribute to the soundtrack of your days. The songs are mainly written by Kristine and she sings, gesticulates and plays guitar, while Britt plays on everything within her reach. Their motto seems to be to play on what you can carry hence there is often a lot of small quirky instruments with them on stage.

20.45-21.15 Maria Ørndrup (DK)
Maria Ørndrup is a 26-year-old songwriter from Aarhus, Denmark. She crafts her own fantasy worlds to describe the ordinary phenomena of modern life: love vs. self, the trials of navel-gazing, green political ideals, and looking at the world through broken glass. Maria sings all her songs in Danish. Expect a lyrical experience of happy-melancholic topple-pop with a folky twist.

Town of Saints are an acoustic folk punk band from the Netherlands who will blow you away with their energetic performances. Their danceable pop songs are full of traditional folk influences and more then enough punk attitude. They have played all over Europe and also, they never sleep!
